Root AT&T Samsung Galaxy S4 I337 on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with Motochopper Utility
A root tool has been released for the AT&T variant of the Samsung Galaxy S4 smartphone. Read this entire post and make sure that you don’t skip any steps that are listed in it and you will be able to root your device at your first attempt without problems.
Rooting your device is a necessary task for users who want to open up tons of other hidden options, which are usually blocked by Samsung and AT&T bloatware data. In order to successfully root your phone with this tutorial, you should first take a look at the guidelines below:
- the Galaxy S4 I337 AT&T model is the only smartphone that will work with this tutorial.

- enable the Developer Options from your phone’s Settings menu like this: open Settings from App Drawer, then click the ‘More’ tab and scroll down to ‘About device’ menu and open it. Scroll down to the bottom of the ‘About Device’ menu and then you have to tap 7 times on the ‘Build Number’ section. After you press the 7th time on it, the Galaxy S4 will notify you that the Developer Options are enabled.
- IMPORTANT: Return to the ‘More’ tab and click the Developer Options button. Now you have to enable the ‘USB Debugging’ option. This will connect the phone with your PC and allow you to root its ROM.
